Blooming result The Amble Inn receives community garden award

We were proud to be standing leaf to leaf with blooming amazing gardens in Amble for the awards, with a representative from The Alnwick Garden casting the final votes.

Our all new gardens, flowering baskets, plants, shrubs and beautiful al fresco dining and drinks area complete with fire pits rewarded us with a runner up award in the Business and Community Category.

General manager Chris Taylor said: “It was a lovely surprise to be runner up in this category, especially when our garden is still so new. We are pleased the judges enjoyed our terrace area – it’s a blooming great place to sit and just watch the world and comes into its own at night time.

“There are some beautiful gardens in the town and we’d like to congratulate all the winners and runners up for creating such beautiful displays that we can all enjoy.”

Amble Mayor Craig Weir said the judges’ decisions had been very difficult due to the increase in the number of entries and by the high standard of gardens in the town.
