The Hog’s Head Inn is an award-winning inn on the outskirts of Alnwick that offers a family friendly environment, making it the perfect base for a magical getaway in Northumberland.
There is plenty to see and do in the original county town, with a market square packed full of quirky independent shops and attractions based around the Duke of Northumberland’s estate.

From Alnwick Castle, which doubled as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films, to The Alnwick Garden and Lillidori, fun-filled adventures are the order of day and all are easily explored via the town tour bus that picks up from the pub hourly.

Serving the beautiful trails of Northumberland National Park and beaches of nearby Alnmouth, muddy boots, paws and wheels are welcome here. We look forward to hosting you and your dog overnight or for a Northumberland getaway break.
