The Castle
The magnificent Bamburgh Castle towers over the sands on Northumberland’s coastline. The Grade-I listed building was once home to the kings of ancient Northumbria. It has 14 public rooms and more than 2,000 artefacts, including arms and armour, porcelain, furniture and artwork.
