Everything to play for at The King’s Head Inn

Child-friendly pubs with space for the kids to play is not always easy to find.

But The King’s Head Inn’s ‘fun-tastic’ new play barn is proving a godsend giving mums and dads some well-earned relaxation time while the kids play.

Jam-packed with fun activities that encourage children to use their imagination as well as games, slides and rides galore to clamber on, the new ‘barn’ certainly has everything to play for.

General manager Chris Moor said: “Happy children means happy parents. As a father myself, I know how important it is to spend quality family time together. Heading out for a family meal together and having a tasty pub meal is something we really enjoy doing. But it can be tricky finding somewhere to keep the kids entertained with space to play so everyone has a great time.

“We wanted to create a family-friendly facility for our customers, where parents know their children are happy and secure. Our new play barn is priceless for letting the kids work off some energy and have fun while you relax with a drink and take your time over your meal.

“Rather than just your standard play park, we’ve incorporated games that stretch children’s imagination so they’re encouraged to stay occupied for longer.

“We’re really pleased with our new play barn which is fit for a King – or at least a prince and princess! It’s a fun-tastic addition to the inn.”
