With no less than three major long distance walking routes passing nearby The Lindisfarne Inn is a mecca for walkers.
With limited overnight accommodation in the area for walkers completing stage five of the Northumberland Coast Path, the final leg of St Cuthbert’s Way or starting out on St. Oswald’s Way, The Lindisfarne Inn is a heaven for walkers looking for accommodation on these routes. And as we are a Welcome Port on the Northumberland Coast Path you can get your Northumberland Coast Path Passport stamped too.
And because we’re so close to The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, we’re the perfect accommodation base if you’re looking to walk the Pilgrim’s Way onto the island.
We can pre-arrange pick-up and drop off* for groups reaching Fenwick who are staying overnight with us. Alternatively, The Lindisfarne Inn is just a 1.3 mile detour from the routes along pleasant, virtually traffic-free roads from Fenwick to Beal, avoiding the A1.
Whatever time of day you choose to break your journey, refuel at The Lindisfarne Inn on delicious, quality homemade food, served all day, every day until 9pm.
Warm up with hot drinks including speciality teas and coffees or quench your thirst with a refreshing cold beer or soft drink.
Want to eat on the go? The Lindisfarne Inn offers a packed lunch service so you can strike out and enjoy a tasty, nutritious picnic along the way.
Pet friendly rooms are available too, if you like walking with your dog. A supplement of £7.50 applies per night.
We work in partnership with a number of excellent local companies who offer a door-to-door baggage service, leaving you to enjoy your walk luggage free.
Leaving the car at home? A bus stop is directly outside The Lindisfarne Inn, connecting us to Alnwick, the coast and Berwick-upon-Tweed which is on the East Coast Main Line.
