The Amble Inn sponsors Puffin Festival

The Amble Inn is puff-in out its chest with pride to be the headline sponsor of The Amble Puffin Festival, a celebration of the UK’s most colourful seabird from 25 – 27 May 2019.

Amble Puffin Festival celebrates everything Puffin with fun and activities in the friendly port town of Amble at the best time of year to see the puffins on nearby Coquet Island as they prepare to take care of their newly hatched pufflings.

General manager Chris Taylor said: “We love The Amble Puffin Festival. It’s a highlight in the town’s year when the whole community and visitors alike come together to celebrate these amazing seabirds which can fly, swim, flap their wings 400 times a minute – plus baby puffins have such a cute name!

“We jumped at the opportunity to be the official sponsor of this year’s festival and to do our bit in supporting a top event which looks set to be bigger and better than ever before.

“It will be our first year open for the Festival and we’ll be marking the occasion with some puffin great activities and celebrations. Watch this space for details.”
