The Inn Collection Group expands in Seahouses

The Inn Collection Group has expanded in the popular town of Seahouses, Northumberland, by purchasing Coble Cottage, as it remains on track to roll out its ‘buy and build’ strategic growth plans. The cottage is adjacent to The Bamburgh Castle Inn, currently one of the largest sites in The Inn Collection Group, boasting 46 en-suite rooms, coastal views and alfresco dining. It is one of five sites in Northumberland and overlooks the harbour in the fishing village of Seahouses.

The location is ideal and we are very excited to be able to welcome even more guests to this beautiful part of Northumberland.”

During the last month, the group has expanded their portfolio further by acquiring a site in Whitby, North Yorkshire, and Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, to extend the site total to 17. Elsewhere, its pubs-with-rooms model lists five sites throughout the Lake District and two in County Durham. A 40-bedroom unit is currently under construction in Wearside on Sunderland’s seafront.

The Inn Collection Group were advised by Newcastle-based law firm Ward Hadaway on the transactions, with Bradley Hall on pre-acquisition diligence.
