Zip World's Adventures
With three different venues across North Wales, Zip World offer a range of experiences. You can soar down the world’s fastest zip line, bounce on a trampoline in an underground cavern, race a quarry kart, or even ride a roller coaster through the forest.
Zip World was founded by Sean Taylor, a former Royal Marine from the Conwy Valley. For him, zip lines offer the closest experience to skydiving without having to leap from an aircraft. His successful formula entails repurposing historic industrial sites into adrenaline-packed playgrounds for adventure enthusiasts. This approach has played a key role in establishing North Wales as Europe’s adventure hub.
The three locations are within close proximity of each other and offer a variety of activities: Penrhyn Quarry in Bethesda is home to Velocity 2, the world’s fastest and Europe’s longest zip line; Zip World Llechwedd Slate Caverns has Titan 2, Europe’s first four-person zip line, alongside the underground trampolines of Bounce Below; and Forest boasts the UK’s only alpine coaster weaving through the trees.
